Windows Vista ™ User Patch

Any Windows Vista* user connecting their computer to any of the following UPS systems MUST download this patch BEFORE they connect their Tripp Lite UPS System to the computer.

The following UPS systems require the patch ONLY if the first 4 digits of the serial number are between 9400 and 9611:

Please print out these instructions and follow the procedures exactly. Instructions (PDF)

1. From the Windows Vista computer, click on the INSTALL PATCH button below.
2. When you see the question, "Do you want to run or save this file?" Click on "Run". Example
3. When you see the question "The publisher could not be verified. Are you sure you want to run this software? (Name: TrippDriverPatchV20.exe)" Click on "Run". Example
4. When you see the text "Welcome to the InstallShield Wizard for Tripp Lite UPS Driver fix." Click on "Next". Example
5. When you see the text "Ready to Install the Program." click on "Install". Example
6. When you see the text "An unidentified program wants access to your computer." Click on "Allow". Example
7. When you see the text "InstallShield Wizard Completed." Click on "Finish". Example
8. After the successful installation of the update, you can operate your UPS as per the owner's manual.

*You should also install the patch if you are using Windows® XP (64-bit) or Windows 2003 (64-bit).
