Why Is UL 60601-1 Compliance Important?
Patient safety depends on it! UL 60601-1 is a patient shock-prevention measure required for all electronic devices that potentially come in contact with patients or staff (an enormous category, encompassing everything from computers to diagnostic equipment and more). A little-known fact is that hospital-grade devices aren’t inherently compliant.
