Find a product's model number on the nameplate located on the back or bottom of the unit. For example: SMART500RT1U.
Locating a Serial Number
Newer Tripp Lite products include labels that look similar to this label.
The product's serial number (which include numbers and letters) can be found on this label typically located on the bottom of the unit. The serial number may also be on the unit's barcode.
Locating a Stock Number
Older Tripp Lite products have labels that look like this.
Instead of a serial number, these labels include a stock number and date code for product verification. You will need both numbers when you register the product on this web site, or if you need to return the product to us for replacement under warranty.
Locating the Date Code
The product's date code is typically prefaced by the letters "D/C".
