Great value, great features I was looking for a home protection system for my computer system. This model had all of the features and at a great price. Very happy with the product June 3, 2013
We recently had a power spike and the devices connected to this UPS were completely unaffected but those on a different (non-Tripp Lite) UPS lost power and the unsaved work on those devices. April 25, 2013
The Battery Back up works Great! Occaisionally we have power flucuations and outages here at our plant that can and have caused expensive damage to our High Tech. Lab Instruments. After installing the AVR550U's on our $40,000 Densitometers we've had no electrical damage to any of our instruments. The battery back up feature also allows us to control the shut down of the instruments which allows a better restart after power is restored. April 10, 2013
This products has great features Affordable price, good products. You will love it. This products is the one that the most company purchase for the employees usage. March 21, 2013

      Answer:
I suggest to purchase a new Battery backup. The battery itself cost almost the same price like the new Battery backup. Don't waist your time and money. It might not working with a new battery either.

My aging (and not-so-tech savvy) parents live in an area with frequent power interruptions. They have such a difficult time reprogramming the coffee pot each time the power goes out that they have stopped using the programmable features.

      Answer:
We appreciate your interest in our UPS Solutions line of products. Please note that as some types of printers have a high initial inrush of current draw (laser printers for example), sizing the UPS to accomodate said inrush typically results in the need to purchase a much larger unit.
