Tripp Lite’s AV550SC Backup Power Block Wins TecHome Builder’s 2008 Innovative Housing Technology Award
Chicago, IL (July 29, 2008)—Tripp Lite, a world-leading manufacturer of power protection equipment, is proud to announce that its AV550SC Backup Power Block for structured wiring enclosures has been honored by TecHome Builder magazine with a 2008 Innovative Housing Technology Award in the Advanced Electrical category.
The annual IHTA Awards are intended to stimulate the development of innovative new products by recognizing outstanding contributions to the homebuilding industry in a broad range of categories. "The 2008 Innovative Housing Technology Awards reflect the strong technological focus of today’s homebuilding industry," said Jason Knott, Editor-in-Chief of CE Pro and TecHome Builder magazines. The AV550SC also features a recycle/reset button with sequential outlet startup for proper modem and router rebooting after a power failure or system freeze-up.
