Before purchasing a replacement battery cartridge (R.B.C.) for
your UPS, please consult your original owner's manual for troubleshooting
steps to verify that an expired battery is the likely problem.
Verification usually involves interpreting front panel LEDs (if
present) and initiating system self-tests (if available). It may
be helpful to recharge your UPS overnight with no equipment connected.
Once charged, retest the UPS for battery power operation. If no
battery support is observed, a battery replacement may solve the
problem.
