Can I use a B136-101 with a B136-004?

I presently have a B136-101 kit. I'd like to expand my usage via a B136-004 and then use the -101s on the display side.

Possible?

Answer:
Yes...the B136 components are interchangeable. The B136-004 would become the Transmitter at the video source, and the B136-101 components would be used as Receivers at the display side. Additional Receivers would be ordered as B136-100.

Audio stopped working?

I bought one of these months ago, and I must say the picture is awesome at the remote locations. Just recently, the audio has stopped working. I get either no sound, or just some very low volume, with static on the peaks. Nothing has been changed or disconnected or anything--it just stopped one day. Did it just wear out, or do you have any ideas I can try? I have tried disconnecting everything, and reconnecting, but it doesn't make any difference.

What about more than 13 displays?

I see here, that this device can be daisy-chained to utilize up to 3 devices. My question is: what's to stop it from being further daisy-chained? And if that is not advisable, how do you recommend accommodating applications requiring more than 13 displays?

A related question: could another 4-port extender/splitter be used at the remote end? For example, I have a B123-004 in one room, and a B136-100 receiver in a second room. Could I then connect the B136-100 up to another B123-004 in that second room?

I am interested in potential configurations that could accommodate more than (3) B136-004 devices.

Thanks!

Answer:
The maximum amount of B136-004 units that can be daisy chained is qty. 3 and should not be further daisy chained as the signal will deteriorate.

Unfortunately at present time we do not have a way to accommodate more than 13 displays, but we always have new product on the drawing board so if an application like this comes up in the future please check to see if it’s something we have.
