Answer:
The B112-002-R only supports one connection (or link) at a time. For simultaneous image display, a splitter would be needed. See Tripp Lite # B114-002-R

Answer:
B112-002-R is a simple A-B switch. There is no remote log in capability. It simply allows the VGA signal from one PC to be viewed on a monitor, then switches to a second PC to view that VGA signal on the monitor.

Maximizing a large screen with trip lite

I have 36 inch Sony TV that I use for a monitor. If I plug my VGA from either computer directly into the TV I gut usage of the full screen. If I switch over to the VGA after the computers are up and running (and were started while connected directly to the TV) the full screen is maintained. However, when I restart either of the PC's the screen image for the restarted screen has black stripes of unused space on either side... about 4 inches on the left and right.

I made sure that my resolution and screen size was maximized in ATI and I know it is right because when the VGA switch is not there at start up there are NO ISSUES.

I really want to use the trip lite switch but if I cant maximize my screen it is no better than a paperweight.
