Great product for cleaning up utility power issues I am a broadcast engineer and our new transmitter, as is common these days, had internal power supplies designed by third parties. Unfortunately, those third parties apparently didn't know anything about the realities of the broadcast business. They thought the best way to "protect" themselves from surges was to shut the power supply and wait for someone to reset it manually. Not very helpful for a transmitter on a mountain top that can take several hours to reach depending on the weather! While our transmitter had redundant systems, unfortunately, we often found our selves off the air because the same power surge resulted in both primary and backup system power supplies shutting down. The building of course had a surge protector to protect against harmful surges, but these power supplies shut down for even minor surges. We decided to try the LC1200 to protect our primary system, leaving the backup system "unprotected" to test how well the LC1200 helped. The LC1200 virtually eliminated these troublesome power supply shut downs, so we purchased another one for the backup system, and now we seldom have to visit the mountain top to deal with these problems and we haven't been off the air at all due to such a problem since. The LC1200s provided an economical solution to our problems and I'd recommend them to anyone who has utility power that has issues. I should say that I don't fault our utility company... it is just the nature of our location that makes things tough. April 19, 2013
Very Wonderful I just got this today from UPS Shipment from Newegg a very wonderful place i have bought so many things from. Recently I had a system die so had to get all new everything. Well over the past few weeks after having it, there have been some strange things happpening to my system, so knowing what to do, went searching and found this and immediately purchased it, and after getting it loaded in and running, I have noticed my systme seems much more stable now. This simple device saved my day I was working when a sudden power event took down all the systems in my office except mine. It happened quickly - don't know what it was. But the lights blinked and every system reset loosing their current states. My HP z800 Workstation and a 12 TB NAS drive (and local network bridge) were plugged into the LC1200. They kept right on going. I didn't loose my work and a large backup process to the NAS drive didn't crash. December 22, 2012
Buy It! Outstanding Product. It was recommended by a friend that has used them for years and I am not disappointed. November 6, 2012

Answer:
Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, the neutral is bonded for the input and output so it is shared. However, we do not recommend connecting a LC to a breaker panel as that would most likely mean hardwiring the unit.

Answer:
Thank you for your inquiry. The LC1200 will work on 100v input. However the unit will continue to boost that voltage by 18.8% (+/- 3V) to maintain a 120V nominal output.

Answer:
Thank you for your inquiry. A red "LINE FAULT" light will turn ON to indicate a wiring fault has been detected. The condition should be investigated and repaired by a qualified technician as soon as possible. A loose wall outlet may cause this light to come ON.
