I'm thinking of buying a Gateway DX4860-UR35P which has a Radeon HD 6570 graphics card. Will this cable work to extend the desktop across two monitors?

Answers

Answer:
No, it will not. This cable takes a single video signal, and mirrors it to two monitors. Extended Desktop Display requires two, separate, video signals. Your video card will require 2 or more outputs ( i.e., two VGA ports ) in order to support Extended Desktop.
