Overview

Tripp Lite's 10-port USB 2.0 hub is the most versatile and powerful hub on the market. This USB 2.0 hub allows you to connect up to ten USB devices to a single USB port on your computer. Features two swivel ports, for easy connection of MP3, flash drive and similar devices. This unit meets or exceeds USB 2.0 Specifications for Hi-Speed data transmission rates up to 480Mbps. Perfect for both the mobile and desktop user. While the hub will function perfectly in virtually all cases without needing external power, a multi-voltage AC adapter (110/220V ) is included in the event you are connecting power hungry devices. The U222-010-R is backwards compatible so that it will function with both USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices. Over-current protection safeguards connected equipment from overvoltages.

Works as expected I was able to plug this in easily, get connected, was able to charge and sync my iphone and ipad at the same time as I hoped and expected to. I also expect that I can plug my husbands android into this and also charge his phone all at the same time with no problems. January 2, 2013

Excellent Hub I just purchased this hub for use on multiple external hard drives. As soon as I connected it to my computer and reconnected the hard drives to it, my computer read everything immediately. I did not have to worry about the drives changing names. March 8, 2012

An iPad requires 2.5Amp for charging. A USB hub like our 10port provides 0.5AMP per port ( true for any USB hub ), and drops down from there as you add peripherals.
