All the adapters have the DVI part of the plug with the 4 pins that are above and below the slot-type plug on the DVI side of the DVI - VGA adapters. My new computer has a video card with 1-DVI, 1 VGA, & 1 HDM1 outlets. problem is that I have the adapters that I used to use on my old computer, and I had 2 monitors set up because I'm a graphic Designer, and I need-em. but the old adapters have 4 pins above and below the slot plug on the DVI Side of the adapter. I have 2 monitors, (1 CRT, & 1 FlatScrn, both have VGA plugs) what can I do to get 2 monitors on my new video card? The new DVI plug doesn't have holes for the 4 pins above and below the slot part of the plug. What can I do? (a "Y" plug for the VGA Slot, maybe?)

Answer:
Hello there

We have various products in our offering that might work for the application. In order to make sure we're looking for the right cable/adapter I would need a little more info in regards to the applciation.

For example, I know you're looking for DVI-D on one end but I'm not clear as to what you need on the other end.

Can I please have that information?
Also, are you just looking for a cable or an adapter? If a cable is required, how long of a length is needed?

Please respond here, or reach out to our presales applciations team at 773-869-1234 option 1 or presaleshelp@tripplite.com
