ULTRABLOK

1. If an inductive load is plugged into the unit, will the unit suppress EMI/RFI from feeding back onto the AC lines?
2. The Specification sheet states that the unit suppresses EMI/RFI from 40-80 dB. What is the noise frequency range used for those values?

Trying to find a surge protector for my appliances (refrigerator, washer, dryer, stove, dishwasher, etc.). And I'm wondering what the differences are. The specifications appear to be the same.

The AC blower in my attic has an expensive circuit board. The blower plugs into a 120V outlet wired nearby. I want to use the Ultrablok to protect this device.

Answer: 
The ULTRABLOK is designed to function in 120 degree temperature. The problem would be the 100% humidity. These devices can not be used in environments that have a high level of moisture and 100% humidity is a considerable amount of moisture, especially for indoors.

Because the ISOBLOK 2-0 has been part of the Tripp Lite product line for quite some time, the unit has undergone several changes, which includes LED configurations. In order to accurately determine which generation of this model is in use, we recommend contacting our Technical Support Department. I would like to use it in my attic. Temperatures go as high as 120F in the summer. I don't know the max humidity but it is below condensing level as I never find moisture accumulation in the attic. I live on the gulf coast and summertime outdoor humidity is typically 80% to 100%. However, that is at 85 to 95°F. The attic is 15° hotter so the actual relative humidity in there is probably closer to 70%

The maximum humidity percentage has not been determined because the ISOBLOK is designed for indoor use. It is not typical that an indoor environment has the same level of humidity found out doors, especially in an environment that has cooling. The concern would be if there is moisture that developes because of the temperature and the cooling. If there is a possibility of condensation developing in the environment, or there is moisture from fans or a cooling unit in close proximity of the ISOBLOK, it should not be used in this environment.
