The policy of Tripp Lite is to incorporate the highest levels of universal accessibility and usability into the design of all of the products it manufactures. Tripp Lite supports federal accessibility legislation such as Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (found at 29 U.S.C. 794d); however, Tripp Lite maintains that its products are exempt from Section 508, according to Section 1194.3 (General Exceptions): " . . . products located in spaces frequented only by service personnel for maintenance, repair, or occasional monitoring of equipment are not required to comply with this part."
