Overview

Tripp Lite's SNMPWEBCARD55 allows network users to operate any expansion slot-equipped Tripp Lite SmartPro or SmartOnline UPS as a managed device on the network. Enables remote monitoring and control of UPS and site electrical conditions using the SNMP network management platform or a web browser. Provides remote viewing of site electrical data, UPS status information and self-test logs. Supports selective rebooting of locked network equipment without disrupting power to other devices when used with customized load management receptacles available on select Tripp Lite UPS systems. Optional ENVIROSENSE module provides remote temperature/humidity monitoring and a dry contact interface to control and monitor alarm, security and telecom devices.

Frequently Asked Questions

The following steps explain how to set the Battery Capacity Below Warning SNMP event notification for SNMPWEBCARD (firmware 5X and earlier): 1. Set the Battery Capacity threshold to desired percentage. 2. Create SNMP contact(s). 3. Navigate to Settings > Events. In the Events Menu, highlight the Battery Capacity Below Warning event. 4. Select SNMP Notification from the Actions list and then click on the Settings button. 5. An SNMP Notification window will appear. Highlight the IP Address on the right-hand pane. If multiple contacts exist, hold down the Ctrl key and select the desired contacts. 6. Select or change the times for Initial notification (top) and for recurrent trap notifications (bottom). 7. Click on the Save Changes button.
These instructions are for the setup of SNMP Communities under the Settings | Network category on the SNMP/V1/V2C tab. 1. To allow all IP addresses that know the Read or Read/Write community names, use the following IP and IP Mask structure: IP = * IP Mask = 0.0.0.0 2. Follow the instructions below to configure SNMPWEBCARD (firmware versions 12.04.0040–12.04.0055) to send notifications to PANSA v057 or later. 1. Install and configure PANSA v057 or later as described in the PANSA User's Guide. 2. Change the community string for the PowerAlert Network Management SNMP contact configured for the computer running PANSA v057 or later from “tlremote” to “tripplite”. This change can be configured in the SNMPWEBCARD’s web GUI by navigating to Settings > Contacts > SNMP.
