Perfect for large home/business theater installations, high-definition TVs, PVRs, satellite and A/V receivers, subwoofers, DVD/CD players and more. Exclusive Isolated Filter Banks eliminate noise interference between components. Features 12 AC outlets arranged in 3 filter banks: Analog, Digital and High Frequency. Four AC outlets are sequenced and individually controllable; IR remote control device included. Dual digital LED displays plus 12 additional LEDs show incoming voltage, current connected equipment load and a variety of operating conditions. Three-line HD-compatible gold coaxial surge protection, 1-line tel/modem protection with built-in splitter (1 line in/2 lines out) and 1-line Ethernet protection safeguard audio/video components on all connections. Questions & Answers
A surge protector will protect your electronics by acting as an “electrical sponge” by clamping down on spikes, “soaking them up” and converting the excess energy into heat, thus preventing the spikes from passing through the surge protector into the sensitive electronic devices and damaging them. As with any “sponge” a surge protector has a limited absorption capacity. Once that capacity is reached, the unit is no longer able to protect and must be replaced.
